CIVIC ASSOCIATION

The Springlake Civic Association (SCA) is a non-profit civic association made up of volunteer neighbors. Our purpose is to protect, promote and preserve the Springlake neighborhood. Our primary focus is security and safety, but we also coordinate social events, work with the city on traffic and development, oversee our parks and host neighborhood meetings.

Springlake History

Founded in 1922 on what was hallowed ground in the Civil War’s Battle for Atlanta, Springlake is situated in the southwestern corner of Buckhead, between Northside Drive and Howell Mill Road and between Collier Road and Peachtree Creek.

Located in the Southwestern-most section of Buckhead just North of Midtown, Springlake is one of Atlanta's most convenient neighborhoods for work and play. One of the few neighborhoods in Buckhead that offers walkable access to shopping, dining and recreation, as well as easy access to Interstates 75 and 85. The recently renovated Bobby Jones Golf Course and Bitsy Grant Tennis Center are located just across Northside Drive, along with the Northwest BeltLine Connector Train and the Beltline's Northside Trail. Within Springlake, neighbors can enjoy Ellsworth Park and McKinley-Wilson Triangle Park; Atlanta Memorial Park and Tanyard Creek Park are within walking distance. The neighborhood is very social hosting seasonal events such as a popular Halloween Parade, Easter Egg Hunt, and Fall BBQ cookoff.

A wonderful and popular neighborhood for families, Springlake is located in the sought-after Morris Brandon Elementary School district, Sutton Middle School district, and North Atlanta High School district. Additionally, the neighborhood is very close to the area’s best private schools.
